Sent to customers when they first sign up for a subscription

Sent to customers when they cancel all subscriptions and become inactive

Sent to customers when their recurring payment is processed

Sent to customers 3 days before their card is charged for subscription renewal

Sent to customers when purchase runs out of stock

Sent to customers when card charge is declined. 

How often is the Card declined notification sent following a failed charge?

The Card declined notification is sent when the charge fails initially. Additional notifications will be sent at the next retry attempt following a seven-day period from the previous notification.

Sent to your customers when their credit card is about to expire. Emails will be sent out 2 days prior to the upcoming charge notification. This notification applies to migrated customers only. Non-migrated customers who originally checked out via Shopify's checkout will receive the relevant notification from Shopify.

Sent to customers when a charge is refunded. This notification applies to migrated customers only. Non-migrated customers who originally checked out via Shopify's checkout will receive the relevant notification from Shopify.

Sent to customers when they enter their email to access their subscriptions

Sent to customers when their payment source needs to be re-authenticated. This notification applies to migrated customers only. Non-migrated customers who originally checked out via Shopify's checkout will receive the relevant notification from Shopify.
